Bible Study

Romans 3:25-26

[25] whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. [26] It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Psalm 32:5

[5] I acknowledged my sin to you,

        and I did not cover my iniquity;

I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,”

and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah

Psalm 51:2-4

[2] Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,

and cleanse me from my sin!

[3] For I know my transgressions,

and my sin is ever before me.

[4] Against you, you only, have I sinned

and done what is evil in your sight,

so that you may be justified in your words

        and blameless in your judgment.

Proverbs 28:13

    [13]

Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper,

but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
