There Is No Sinking Boat In Christ Jesus

He said to them, "Where is your faith?" And they were afraid, and they marveled, saying to one another, "Who then is this, that he commands even winds and water, and they obey him?" - Luke 8:25

38 But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, "Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?"

39 And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40 He said to them, "Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?"

41 And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?" - Mark 4:38-41

Storms of life!

Sorrows, deaths, illness, job loss, marriages breaking apart and I could go on and on!

Real weather related storms!

Tornadoes, hurricanes, straight line winds, earthquakes, floods, fires, and I could go on and on.

Such is life, they come to all, regardless of who you are.

In Christ or lost, trials come!

But in Christ there is no sinking.

He commands all things.

You will suffer.

You will not be defeated.

In Christ there is no sinking!!

Are you trusting Christ for salvation?

32 Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me.

5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them.

6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error. - 1 John 4:2-6

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith.

5 Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? - 1 John 5:3-5
