If You Will, Lord

Mark 1:40-41
40 And a leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him, "If you will, you can make me clean."
41 Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him, "I will; be clean."
Such simple words that say so much about our Lord! He has mercy(pity) on us sinners who are sick and dying, on a road to hell! So much so, that He gave His life as a ransom for many! Who can understand it?
Mark 1:14-15
14 Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God,
15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."
In the very beginning, He said repent and believe in the gospel! There was no doubt as to why He was here, mercy was in His heart.
1 Tim.2:5-6
5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.
1 Tim.2:3-4
3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,

4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
His sorrow is great for all who are perishing!
Ezekiel 18:32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!
Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men
The Lord's desire is for all to souls to be saved! Salvation is an actual salvation, not depending upon us but on God who has mercy! Alas, there are a world full of ungodly men who are condemned! Pray continually for their souls!
1Tim.2:1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people
Lord, how important is mercy? It is Your mercy that will save! Help us to teach this! To show the love You have for the lost! To let people know that You alone save! We, through our faith, in the fact that You are merciful beyond anything we can imagine! For Your glory, Amen
