John 1:1-5
[1]
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made
through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. [4]
In him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] The light shines
in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
1 John 1:1-3
[1]
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have
seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our
hands, concerning the word of life—[2] the life was made manifest, and
we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life,
which was with the Father and was made manifest to us—[3] that which we
have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have
fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and
with his Son Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 1:1-10
[1] Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,
To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus:
[2] Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
[3]
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed
us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, [4]
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we
should be holy and blameless before him. In love [5] he predestined us
for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the
purpose of his will, [6] to the praise of his glorious grace, with which
he has blessed us in the Beloved. [7] In him we have redemption through
his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches
of his grace, [8] which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight
[9] making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his
purpose, which he set forth in Christ [10] as a plan for the fullness of
time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.
Romans 16:25-27
[25]
Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the
preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery
that was kept secret for long ages [26] but has now been disclosed and
through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations,
according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the
obedience of faith—[27] to the only wise God be glory forevermore
through Jesus Christ! Amen.
Colossians 1:16-20
[16]
For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and
invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all
things were created through him and for him. [17] And he is before all
things, and in him all things hold together. [18] And he is the head of
the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead,
that in everything he might be preeminent. [19] For in him all the
fullness of God was pleased to dwell, [20] and through him to reconcile
to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by
the blood of his cross.
Philippians 2:9-11
[9]
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that
is above every name, [10] so that at the name of Jesus every knee should
bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, [11] and every tongue
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
John 14:26
[26]
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,
he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I
have said to you.
John 14:16-17
[16]
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be
with you forever, [17] even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot
receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he
dwells with you and will be in you.
John 15:26-27
[26]
“But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father,
the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness
about me. [27] And you also will bear witness, because you have been
with me from the beginning.
John 16:7-11
[7]
Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go
away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I
go, I will send him to you. [8] And when he comes, he will convict the
world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: [9] concerning sin,
because they do not believe in me; [10] concerning righteousness,
because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; [11]
concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
