We Worship You Lord

There is a peace that comes from The Lord, in knowing and obeying His words.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
John 16:33
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
1 Peter 1:2

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.
Hebrews 10:22
let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

Today my brother entered into hospice care. He signed his" do not resuscitate order ".

He is totally resting in the care of his Creator, waiting to return to his real home.
He believes that Christ alone saves sinful man, that there is nothing worthy in man that could satisfy the wrath of holy God.
That God alone sent Christ as a propitiation for man's sin, that Christ, in obedience to His father, willingly died on the cross.
My bother believes that your soul will live eternally, in heaven or hell.
There is no in between place where perhaps you can receive help! Your life is now, you make choices with eternal implications.

Luke 18:26-27
26 Those who heard it said, "Then who can be saved?"
27 But he said, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."

Your life is indeed a vapor. A mist that appears and is gone in an instance. All we have is faith in Christ that He is able to save our souls. This is what God planned!

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
1 John 4:10
In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Romans 3:23-25
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.
Hebrews 2:17-18
17 Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
18 For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted
1 John 2:1-6
1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 Whoever says "I know him" but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,
5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:
6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

What is worship? Obedience to God's Commands, reverence toward God and sharing the gospel for the making of disciples in every nation, tribe and tongue!

Luke 4:8

And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”
Psalm 95:6
Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker
Psalms 96:9

Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth!
Hebrews 12:28-29
28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,
29 for our God is a consuming fire.
Revelation 4:10-11

10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11 "Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created."
Revelation 22:3
3 No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.
1 John 5:1-5
1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.
4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.
5 Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

I love you brother for the man you have become in the Lord!
