The Danger Of Thinking You Will Live Forever

Eternity comes swiftly!
Death is ever hovering!
Praise be to God, Jesus has conquered death!

and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, - 2 Timothy 1:10

by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. - Colossians 2:14

The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away.  - Psalm 90:10

This is assuming God will allow you not to be killed by sickness, accident, murder or self.

Infinite God
1 Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
3 You return man to dust and say, "Return, O children of man!"
4 For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night.  - Psalm 90:1-4

13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.  - Psalm 139:13-16

Our prayer should be!

So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.  - Psalm 90:12

Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, and for as many years as we have seen evil.  - Psalm 90:15

Not only for Israel but for me and you!!

2 And you shall remember the whole way that the LORD your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.
3 And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
4 Your clothing did not wear out on you and your foot did not swell these forty years.
5 Know then in your heart that, as a man disciplines his son, the LORD your God disciplines you.
6 So you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God by walking in his ways and by fearing him. - Deuteronomy 8:2-6
