But, How Do You Know You Will Have A Tomorrow?

You don't know!
Life is a precious gift, given by God.
He controls your breath, your life, your being!
Are you being thankful and giving Him the praise He alone deserves?
Brothers and sisters, let us not assume tomorrow will come.
Ask the Lord for mercy!

13 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit"-
14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.
15 Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that."
16 As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin. - James 4:13-17

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.  - Proverbs 27:1

And this we will do if God permits. - Hebrews 6:3

18 And he said, 'I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.
19 And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry."'
20 But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?' - Luke 12:18-20

For my days pass away like smoke, and my bones burn like a furnace.  - Psalm 102:3

"Remember that my life is a breath; my eye will never again see good.  - Job 7:7

Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? - 1 Corinthians 5:6

For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. - 2 Peter 2:21

Listen to the words of these scriptures:

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars." - 2 Chronicles 16:9

The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.  - Proverbs 15:3

60 that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God; there is no other.
61 Let your heart therefore be wholly true to the LORD our God, walking in his statutes and keeping his commandments, as at this day." - 1 Kings 8:60-61

Take comfort in being a child of the only true King!
