Bible Study

Ephesians 2:14-16

[14] For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility [15] by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, [16] and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.

1 Corinthians 15:25-27

[25] For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. [26] The last enemy to be destroyed is death. [27] For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him.

Matthew 28:18-20

[18] And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Isaiah 9:6-7

[6] For to us a child is born,

        to us a son is given;

and the government shall be upon his shoulder,

and his name shall be called

    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

        Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

[7] Of the increase of his government and of peace

        there will be no end,

on the throne of David and over his kingdom,

to establish it and to uphold it

    with justice and with righteousness

from this time forth and forevermore.

The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.
