The Lives of the People Who Now Reside In Graves

Hebrews 9:27

[27] And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,

Do you ever wonder as you pass graves about the lives of the people who now reside there?

I do!

I wonder about their precious soul and the choices they made and where those choices will cause their soul to reside for all eternity.

There is only one way to be right before a Holy God.

The atoning blood of Christ Jesus is the only acceptable payment.

It's not for sale.

You can't earn it.

You can't win it.

You can't trade for it.

It's totally free according to the mercy of the Lord!

He redeemed you, He justified you, He sanctified you, He forgave you by one selfless act.

Death on the cross.

Now is the time for salvation.

When He is lifting up, He will call all men to Him!

He's calling you, will you answer?

John 3:17

[17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

John 8:15-16

[15] You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. [16] Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me.

John 8:7-11

[7] And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” [8] And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground. [9] But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. [10] Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” [11] She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”]]

Acts 17:30-31

[30] The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, [31] because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”

Ecclesiastes 12:14

[14] For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.

Colossians 2:13-14

[13] And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, [14] by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

Ephesians 2:4-9

[4] But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, [5] even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—[6] and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, [7] so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. [8] For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, [9] not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

John 3:5-7

[5] Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. [6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. [7] Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

1 Peter 1:3-5

Born Again to a Living Hope

[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [4] to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, [5] who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

“I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24).
