For our brothers and sisters all over the world who are making disciples!
Ps.46:1010 "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"
My church has teams spreading the gospel all other the world. They have left family, jobs, friends and the comfort of home because there is nothing more important to them than sharing the love of Christ to the lost. Some are on short term missions, others are moving to other countries to live with native people who need to know the power of salvation in Christ. Some are in danger, some are received with open arms! God is in control of our lives. He holds our safety and our death in His hands. What are people of other religions afraid of? Why is there so much opposition for people to have the freedom to choose Jesus over false religions? The answer is Satan! He has this world in his grip and wants to take as many souls to hell, his kingdom, as possible. 2 Corinthians 4:4-5 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.”
Do you want freedom? It is found in Christ! We have been freed by His blood! Rev.1:5 and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.
2 Cor.3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Until you are saved, you are in bondage to sin! Ps.146:1-8 Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! I will praise the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever; who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free; the LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous.
Romans 6:6-7 We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin.
Definition of exalted: to elevate by praise or in estimation : glorify
Glorify God in your life by making disciples! John 8:31-32 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
Lord God Most High, open hearts to Your word and the freedom found only in Jesus. Amen

The Greatest Lie
This blog post is a based on a sermon from Michael Youssef, Leading the Way.Org
The fall from Grace by Adam and Eve: Gen.3:12-15 The man said, "The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate." Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this that you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate." The LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."
Now, I am sure we think we are different from Adam and Eve. We would never do what God has warned us not to do. But, God in His wisdom knew better. Even though Adam and Eve were the first humans to disobey God's commands, we are still committing the same sin of rebellion. And that brings us to the greatest lie, Jesus is not the only way to Heaven. This is the ultimate form of rebellion, our disbelief in the Grace of Christ! We have become indifferent toward God. We think Grace is boring. Amazing Grace is not boring! It is all that keeps us from going to Hell! Grace is not free or cheap! Jesus paid the price for Grace by being nailed to the cross! You and I should have been there on that cross because we are guilty! We refuse to see ourselves as fallen creatures rebelling against God. We refuse to believe in the judgement that is coming from God. Our culture teaches us that we can do all things. We view God as a politician whom we put in office and can remove. We think God owes us a favor. God can give and take at anytime with no warning! Romans 9:14-16 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. God is waiting for you! He wants you! He will not hold your past sin over you. This brings to mind two parables in the Bible. The Prodigal Son: Luke 15:11-24 And he said, "There was a man who had two sons. And the younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the share of property that is coming to me.' And he divided his property between them. Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living. And when he had spent everything, a severe famine arose in that country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed pigs. And he was longing to be fed with the pods that the pigs ate, and no one gave him anything. "But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants."' And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.' But the father said to his servants,'Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.' And they began to celebrate.
The Lost Sheep: Luke 15:1-7 Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear him. And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them." So he told them this parable: "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.' Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
Adam attempted to blame God for his sin: Gen.3:12 The woman You gave to be with me, she gave me the fruit of the tree and I ate. Eve just as good as said the devil made me do it! Neither one takes responsibility for their sin and asks for forgiveness. Take responsibility for your sin. God wants us to confess sin and to repent. Cry out to God that you are spiritually lost and in need of a Savior. His word will change the worst offender. Father God, I pray this for us. Forgive us. Let Your word cleanse our heart. Amen

I Am He
I am He:
Deut.32:39 "'See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god beside me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand.
To my dear sweet brothers and sisters in foreign lands, God is calling you. He has sent out His people of faith to share His word of hope with you. They are there to love you with the love of a living God. We want you to have clean water and medical care, but more than that, we want for you to know the joy and peace found in Christ Jesus.
The god of this world is a destroyer. He will take your soul. He is Satan, run from him.
Only the blood of Christ can cleanse you from sin, no body of water deemed to be holy water can do this. It is the power of God through His Son Jesus. No chants can deliver you from hell, only a blood sacrifice from the holy sinless Son of God can pay the debt that you owe to God. It requires faith in the knowledge that Christ paid the debt for you as His gift, a gift you can not earn or repay and repentance from you as a sinner and the knowledge that you are lost and in need of a Savior. These words are so sweet and their power is so very awesome! Please don't enter eternity and be separated from our creator and God.
Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Col.2:13-14 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
1Tim.1:15-16 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
God already has people, in all nations, who have been called by Him and have not heard His word of good news. We are using every means to reach you with God's good word, whether it be the Internet, in person or any other way God opens to us. We pray all the time for your heart to be open to God's word. Lord, bless the ones who will read about Your Son Jesus. Let the knowledge of His sacrifice break hearts. Let the knowledge that we are lost and need a Savior be a clear and precise message from You. For only You have the power to save our souls from hell. There is no other God but You! Amen

The Choice of Life and Death
Deut.30:10-15 when you obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes that are written in this Book of the Law, when you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. "For this commandment that I command you today is not too hard for you, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that you should say, 'Who will ascend to heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' But the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it. "See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil. Man's beginning: Gen.2:7 then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. Your life is not your own: Jer.10:23 NIV I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps. You were ransomed: Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." You were bought with a price: 1 Cor.6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.Belief in God's Son is life: 1John 5:10-12 Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. Wages of sin: Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Pass into life: John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. Deny God's Son: 1 John 2 : No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. Christ is our risen hope and death is destroyed: 1Cor.15:19-26 If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied. But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. Salvation, in Christ alone: Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Repentance, turn from your sin: Luke 13:3 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Faith, why God's word is key: Romans 10:7 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Father God, we have no excuse for our wickedness. Your word is true and we are in need of a Savior. We ask for mercy and forgiveness when we are willful and disobedient. We can not deny You. Open hearts to Your word. Amen

Though the Mountains Be Moved into the Heart of the Sea
Ps.46:1-3,7,10 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"
God is speaking through tragedy! He is concerned about our eternity! He knows that time is short! He knows that we are a stiff-necked people who only listen when we are tossed into chaos! We listen when we loose control; by the way, we only think we have control! God has control and always has! However, you do make decisions and live with the outcome. That is why prayer is so important when making decisions. I am so guilty of this!! Lord, forgive me.
You can have full confidence in Him! Ps.16:8 ASV I have set Jehovah always before me: Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Overruling wicked things for good! Phil.1:12-13 I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel, so that it has become known throughout the whole imperial guard and to all the rest that my imprisonment is for Christ.
He supplies! Phil.4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Trust in Him! Ps.62:8-9 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.
Power belongs to God! Ps.62:11-12 Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.We learn righteousness from His judgments! Is.26:9 My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.I will leave you with the verse that I think we should cling to with all our might, 2 Cor.12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Lord, we are indeed weak, but You Lord are powerful. We fall at Your feet for mercy and forgiveness. We trust that You supply all our needs whether it be salvation, food, our very first and last breath and our temporary and eternal home. Lord, You grant us freedom in this very knowledge. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

To Whom Shall We Go?
John 6:65-69 And he said, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father." After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. So Jesus said to the Twelve, "Do you want to go away as well?" Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God."
You are busy living life when out of the blue comes a earthquake, a flood, a tornado or a tsunami! Everything is turned upside down! There is no food, water, shelter, many people have lost their life. To whom shall you go? The Lord God is there and He has always been there! Is.43:10-11 "You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me. I, I am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior.
He is our only hope!1 Tim.4:10 For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.
He is calling you to repentance! Luke 5:32 I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."
He is going to return! Rev.1:7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen
There will be unbelievers but God wants no one to perish! 2 Peter 3:3-10 knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, "Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation." For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. Have you repented? Are you ready to meet a Holy God who will judge you? Lord, I call on you, the only one who can save, for mercy for all of us who have trusted Jesus for His free gift of salvation. Open eyes to receive Your word. Amen

Amen

I Feel You
In my heart, I feel you. All of you who are searching for the truth, the ones God is calling. I know you may be in lands, far away from me, but remember this, you are oh so close to the Lord, just look around and see His creation. I too know that feeling of being lost. The feeling there is something more to life than just this day to day living, with all it's ups and downs. Be open to His word and receive His gift of eternal salvation, brought with a price by God's only Son, Jesus. You are that special, that precious, that He would pay your debt with His blood.
John 1:12-14 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. Eph.1:4-9 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, acording to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ Eph.2:8-10 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. 1 Peter 1:18-19 knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. Col.1:13-14 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Lord, help me to speak Your word in truth, to captivate the lost with Your word as You have captured my heart. Teach me as You teach them through Your word. Lord God, you are powerful, You are mighty, You are King, You are Judge, have mercy on us. By Your will and power, save the lost. Amen Rev.21:6 And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.
