Ps.9:20 Put them in fear, O LORD! Let the nations know that they are but men!
You should fear the Lord your God for He alone is your judge! Fear drives you to wisdom (His Word) as you search for understanding.
Ps.111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!
We are not God! We are His creation, we were made in His image but we are under subjection to Him.
Definition of subjection: Being in a position or in circumstances that place one under the power or authority of another
Ez.28:2 "Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord GOD: "Because your heart is proud, and you have said, 'I am a god, I sit in the seat of the gods, in the heart of the seas,' yet you are but a man, and no god, though you make your heart like the heart of a god--

'What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. For although there may be so-called gods in heaven or on earth--as indeed there are many "gods" and many "lords"-- yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist. However, not all possess this knowledge. But some, through former association with idols, eat food as really offered to an idol, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
Seek God!
Deut.4:29 But from there you will seek the LORD your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Heb.11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Believe that God exists and that He has provided a Savior to the world through His Son, Jesus Christ! Know that you are lost and in need of a Savior! Know that you will forever be separated from a holy God if you do not believe in the Jesus for salvation. It is your choice, but you must choose to accept or deny! You can live in fear or live in Christ! Father God, thank You for Jesus. Let Your Words come alive to the lost, spark in their hearts the wonder that is You. Your Word gives freedom from fear!Amen

Children Yet Unborn
Ps.78:4-6 things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders that he has done. He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments;
There are many thoughts on abortion. One thought that seems to cause a lot of discussion is when the fetus becomes a human being? The only thought that matters is what God's Word reveals.
Ps.139:13-16 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.Abortion is an offense to God's sovereign authority as Creator!Definition of offense: a violation or breaking of a social or moral rule; transgression; sin.My pastor preached a great sermon on just what God's Word says. From the mothers who have aborted their baby, to the fathers who supported the abortion, to the grandparents who encouraged the abortion, to the doctor who performed the abortion, to our government leaders who passed law supporting abortion, God will forgive, heal, restore, and redeem if you repent! Each person is responsible for his own sin!1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Deut.24:16 "Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. Each one shall be put to death for his own sin.Is.43:25 "I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.Ps.103:12 as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. He will give you peace!Luke 7:47-50 Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven--for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little." And he said to her, "Your sins are forgiven." Then those who were at table with him began to say among themselves, "Who is this, who even forgives sins?" And he said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." We have the right to oppose evil. Abortion is evil except to save the mother's life! We have the right tolegislate good to protect us from the bad! It is against the law to steal, murder, speed, drive recklessly and rob, etc., for the the good of society and to keep peace! Government was instituted by God to keep peace.Romans 13:1-4 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. I would just like to say one more thing, in the case of rape or incest, the baby is innocent. God will carry you through this trial, He is able to take what is meant for evil and show His glory!! Pray for God's peace and guidance. Gen.50:20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. Repent! Be humble before God, having faith in Christ for salvation, having hatred for all sin and having a new life in Christ. 2 Cor.7:10 For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.Lord, teach us about repentance through Your Word. Help us not to judge for we are being judged by You, who are worthy to judge all men. Lord, touch hearts about sin and teach us to run to Your Word for guidance. Amen

"Where Were You When I Laid the Foundation of the Earth?
Job 38:4 "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding.
This is God speaking to Job, but I ask you this question. I ask because of all the disrespect that is given Holy God, and wonder if you really know who know deny! The everyday things we take for granted, the rain, the sun, the moon, the soil, the trees, the water, and I could go on and on, are not just there. They are given or withheld by a sovereign God who has created all things!
Gen.1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Ps.104:5 He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.
Jer.10:12 But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.
Prov.30:4 Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and the name of his son? Tell me if you know!
His word can be no more plain than this, There is none like the Lord God Almighty!
1 Chr.17:20 There is none like you, O LORD, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
Heb.11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Lord God, how majestic is Your name? We can not comprehend You! You are awesome beyond words! Lord, show mercy to those who deny You, open their heart to receive You. Let them see the beauty that is in Your word. Amen

The Wondrous Works of God
Job 37:14-16 "Hear this, O Job; stop and consider the wondrous works of God. Do you know how God lays his command upon them and causes the lightning of his cloud to shine? Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge
O Precious Lord, Your wondrous works we can not grasp them all. Some are seen, some are not seen. You are full of power and majesty, mighty to save and merciful to the extent we can't understand. Lord, how we praise Your name and stand in awe at Your holiness. Amen
Job 37:23 The Almighty--we cannot find him; he is great in power; justice and abundant righteousness he will not violate.
God's knowledge, righteousness and understanding is forever, in all things!
Job 36:3-6 I will get my knowledge from afar and ascribe righteousness to my Maker. For truly my words are not false; one who is perfect in knowledge is with you. "Behold, God is mighty, and does not despise any; he is mighty in strength of understanding. He does not keep the wicked alive, but gives the afflicted their right.
There is no teacher like Him.

The Breath of the Almighty Gives Me Life/Alive in Christ
Job 33:4 The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
It is not by chance that you are born. God has a plan! He made you, for His purpose, to glorify who He is!! God is greater than man! He created everything!! He is and will be!! He has no beginning and no end!!
Job 33:12 "Behold, in this you are not right. I will answer you, for God is greater than man.
He offers hope to the weary through His Son, the light of the world! Though our eyes close in death, we will still see the light!
Job 33:28 He has redeemed my soul from going down into the pit, and my life shall look upon the light.'
Acts 13:47 For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, "'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'"
All that repent will find mercy from God!

Lord God Almighty, It is you who gives and takes life according to Your purpose. I stand on Your Word as truth! Your Word has power and that power is ours because we belong to You. You are mighty to save and we ask for the souls that are promised us by Your Word. In Jesus name, Amen

Where Does Wisdom Come From?
Job 28:20-28 "From where, then, does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding? It is hidden from the eyes of all living and concealed from the birds of the air. Abaddon and Death say, 'We have heard a rumor of it with our ears.' "God understands the way to it, and he knows its place. For he looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens. When he gave to the wind its weight and apportioned the waters by measure, when he made a decree for the rain and a way for the lightning of the thunder, then he saw it and declared it; he established it, and searched it out. And he said to man, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.'"

There is a two-fold wisdom; one hid in God, which is secret, and belongs not to us; the other made known by him, and revealed to man. One day's events, and one man's affairs, have such reference to, and so hang one upon another that He only, to whom all is open, and who sees the whole at one view, can rightly judge of every part. But the knowledge of God's revealed will is within our reach, and will do us good. Let man look upon this as his wisdom, to fear the Lord, and to depart from evil. Let him learn that, and he is learned enough. Where is this wisdom to be found? The treasures of it are hid in Christ, revealed by the word, received by faith, through the Holy Ghost. It will not feed pride or vanity, or amuse our vain curiosity. It teaches and encourages sinners to fear the Lord, and to depart from evil, in the exercise of repentance and faith, without desiring to solve all difficulties about the events of this life.
Lord, give us wisdom to follow Your Word. Amen
