Eternity is a Reality for Everyone

PRAY OVER THIS

Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 2 Corinthians 5:16

READ THIS

Think about the privilege to introduce a soul to Jesus Christ. Now Paul said, “Henceforth know we no man after the flesh…” What does he mean by that? He said, “I don’t look at them according to their stature, whether they’re big or small. I don’t look at them according to their intellect, whether they’re educated or uneducated. I don’t look at their status, whether they’re rich or poor, famous or unknown.” He says, “All of that is of the flesh. From here on out, we know no man after the flesh …”

Every soul that you will meet today and for the rest of your life is precious in the sight of the Lord. Do you believe that? Call no man common for whom Jesus died. Sometimes we think a person has a great victory if he wins a football star to Christ or wins a movie star to Christ or wins a business magnate to Christ. Well, they certainly need Jesus, but God’s not impressed with all of that. “Henceforth know we no man after the flesh.”

CONSIDER THIS

How difficult do you find it to remember that every person you meet has an eternal soul?

What might change in your daily interactions if you remember this reality in each moment?

DO THIS

Pray and ask the Father to make the reality of eternity for every person real in your life so that you might better grasp the weight of every interaction you have.
