Prov.6:32-33
32 He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself.
33 He will get wounds and dishonor, and his disgrace will not be wiped away.
If you do not think about this, maybe after you read this, you will stop and think about "Why Satan loves to attack marriage"! When God made man and woman and surveyed all His creation, He said "It is good"! Marriage was instituted for man by God. It is a covenant, between one man and one woman, meant to last until one dies. Men, your wife is not your slave. You should love her, take care of her and cherish her just as Christ loves the church. Wives, the husband is the head of the home, you are to obey him, trust him, see to his needs and love him with all your heart. When families put Christ first, they are walking as Christ would have us walk. We live by the principles God has commanded in His word. We are moral and walk by faith. Satan knows when man follows God, he is defeated! When we stray from worship, God is indeed offended but Satan sees an opening to attack. What begins as temptation burst forth into sin! When man and wife start to consider self alone, not God and not marriage partnership. Satan is there to attack! Make no mistake, we are engaged in spiritual warfare against Satan. He is cunning and He will take advantage of your mistakes.
Gen.2:7 then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature
Gen.2:18 Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him."
Gen.:21-25
21 So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh.
22 And the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.
23 Then the man said, "This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.
Eph.5:22,-6:4
22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.
24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.
25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.
28 In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church,
30 because we are members of his body.
31 "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."
32 This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.
33 However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Some men wear the conquest of women as banners of manhood. No where in God's word is this implied! Satan is the one who perverts this to trap men into sin! It is clear, God's design for marriage is one of deep commitment to each other for life! God has gone into great detail to give us His commands for us to have happy marriages. We only have trouble when we look to the world for answers instead of our Creator!
Lord, I pray for the ones who are caught up in the lies of Satan. The worldly view that supports having many sexual conquest, is a lie straight from hell. Your word is clear that fornicators and adulterers will not inherit Your kingdom. To God, whose is able, strengthen us, comfort us, give us peace and direction through His glorious word. Amen
After you fall into temptation and then sin, there is hope for forgiveness if you repent! If not, the punishment is severe. The one who stands on the promise of the Lord will be at peace but you, sinner, will fall hard!
Matt.5:27-28
27 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.'
28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Matt.15:19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander
1Cor.6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality
1 Cor.6:15-18
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!
16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, "The two will become one flesh."
17 But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.
18 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.
1 Thess.4:3-5
3For this is the will of God, your sanctification:that you abstain from sexual immorality;
4 that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor,
5 not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God;
Heb.13:4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous
No hope!
Heb.10:26-27
26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.
Hope!
1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Look to Christ!
Titus 2:14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
I will be praying for you!

Sent by King Jesus
Matt.9:37-38
37 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;
38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."
Matt.10:7
7 And proclaim as you go, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'
As Jesus went about proclaiming the gospel, He had compassion on the people, healing every disease and affliction. He noticed the large crowd, felt their suffering and realized that they were to be forever separated from God by their sin. We are to pray for the lost, asking God to bring in the harvest. Jesus knew that separation from God meant judgement. Only Jesus is able to satisfy the wrath due us! We must take this message to the lost! God is a God of peace but He is a jealous God. He wants you to worship Him alone! He wants you to trust in His provision for you as you take this message of hope to the world. The world will hate you as you follow Christ!
Matt.10:22
22 and you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved
Matt.10:34
34 "Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
Matt.10:38-40
38 And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
39 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
40 "Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.
Fear is a great tempter! Not to speak boldly, not to see with an eternal perspective and not to abandon
everything for the cause of Christ.
Lord, help us! Amen
Matt.10:32-33
32 So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven,
33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
37 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;
38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."

Your Sins are Forgiven
Mark 2:5
5 And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."
Do you believe that Jesus has the authority to forgive your sin? Well, He does and He will!
This particular verse is about a paralytic man who was lowered, by his friends, from the roof of a house to ask for mercy from Jesus. Jesus was moved by their great faith.
Mark 2:10
10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"--he said to the paralytic--
This is the whole basis to being a Christ follower. The fact that we know Christ is able! He is all powerful and has divine grace that is greater than all our sin! We are completely dependent on Christ for our salvation! Is sickness related to sin, yes! When sin, through one man, came into the world, God's perfect creation was perverted. Adam brought us death but Christ brings us life!
Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—
Romans 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
1Cor.15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
But merciful God sent His Son to atone for our sin debt.
Mark 14:24
24 And he said to them, "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.
Romans 3:25
25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.
Eph.1:7
7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace
Col.1:20
20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
Rev.1:5
5 and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood
This is the beautiful truth about our need for a Savior! God wants no man to perish, but calls all to repentance! Turn from your sin, call on Jesus and follow His commands!
Lord God Almighty, We are in need of Your mercy! Help us, as Your people, to teach Your truth. Amen

If You Will, Lord
Mark 1:40-41
40 And a leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him, "If you will, you can make me clean."
41 Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him, "I will; be clean."
Such simple words that say so much about our Lord! He has mercy(pity) on us sinners who are sick and dying, on a road to hell! So much so, that He gave His life as a ransom for many! Who can understand it?
Mark 1:14-15
14 Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God,
15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."
In the very beginning, He said repent and believe in the gospel! There was no doubt as to why He was here, mercy was in His heart.
1 Tim.2:5-6
5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.
1 Tim.2:3-4
3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
His sorrow is great for all who are perishing!
Ezekiel 18:32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!
Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men
The Lord's desire is for all to souls to be saved! Salvation is an actual salvation, not depending upon us but on God who has mercy! Alas, there are a world full of ungodly men who are condemned! Pray continually for their souls!
1Tim.2:1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people
Lord, how important is mercy? It is Your mercy that will save! Help us to teach this! To show the love You have for the lost! To let people know that You alone save! We, through our faith, in the fact that You are merciful beyond anything we can imagine! For Your glory, Amen

Whoever Will,Let Him Come
All are welcome! Who will come and take this gift offered? Christ is waiting for sinners! Sinners are searching for something of everlasting value, not monetary value but much more desirable than that! Salvation is peace and security! It's price is not obtained by gold or jewels! Salvation was bought with the blood an innocent Lamb, Christ Jesus! His command was to tell others this good news!
Matt.28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
Mark 16:15-16
15 And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.
16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Romans 1:5
5 through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations
Rev.22:17
17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
Lord, We will teach and learn from Your Word! Help us! Amen

His Spirit Inside
Where is the Lord? Is He far away in heaven with His Father? Did He leave us when He was resurrected?
Are we on our own to navigate through life? Questions that need answers, and the bible answers if you will but search!
John 16:7-13
7 Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:
9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in me;
10 concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer;
11 concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
12 "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
1Cor.5:3 For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing.
Un-repentance is sin:
1Cor.5:5 you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.
Satan receives power, at times to try you and me. Make no mistake, he is defeated! However, he will try to use his cunning to make us an ineffective witness for Christ! Keep in mind if you are a child of His, Christ is in control and He will use everything in your life for His glory! Think of Paul, his ever present thorn in the flesh problem, and how he was told" My grace is sufficient".
2Cor.12:7 So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited.
1Cor.11:32 But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world.
1Peter 4:6 For this is why the gospel was preached even to those who are dead, that though judged in the flesh the way people are, they might live in the spirit the way God does.
Think of Job, a Godly man, whom the devil tormented!
Job 2:4-7
4 Then Satan answered the LORD and said, "Skin for skin! All that a man has he will give for his life. 5 But stretch out your hand and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse you to your face."
6 And the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, he is in your hand; only spare his life."
7 So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and struck Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.
Humbleness:
Ps.83:16 Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek your name, O LORD.
Sin may be pardoned but sickness may remain. You may be healed and sin remain. Why? We live in a fallen world! Sin results in death! That is why we must hate sin, it causes sorrow! Jesus has the power to forgive sin! He came, in obedience to His Father, to be a living sacrifice so that we could be reconciled to God! It is the only way! Whatever your circumstance, you must make a choice, seek God or deny Him! In sickness and health, His grace is sufficient!
Father, expose our sin. Help us to honor You in everything! We stand humble before You, in gratitude for Your saving grace. Forgive us!

The Idle Servant
Our employer is Christ! He is our master and king! Are we being humble before the One who has the keys to death and hell? We are here to be a servant for the Lord. To preach the gospel, to love the unlovable, and to nurture the soul.
Deut.10:12-14
12 "And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
13 and to keep the commandments and statutes of the LORD, which I am commanding you today for your good?
14 Behold, to the LORD your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth with all that is in it.
Lord, teach us to be Your servant, to honor You and to teach others the wonder that is You. Amen
Col.3:22-24
22 Slaves, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.
23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money."
God's command about labor :
Gen.3:17-19
17 And to Adam he said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, 'You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
18 thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field.
19 By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return."
2Thess.3:6-10
6 Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.
7 For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not idle when we were with you,
8 nor did we eat anyone's bread without paying for it, but with toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you.
9 It was not because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves an example to imitate.
10 For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.
Christ, the ultimate Servant:
Phi. 2:7-8 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Matt.20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Ps.123:2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
True freedom:
1 Corinthians 7:22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
Blessed:
Matthew 24:46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Punishment or happiness:
Matthew 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of

Gen.3:17-19
17 And to Adam he said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, 'You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
18 thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field.
