For God Alone My Soul Waits

My Lord and my God, Your Word is rich with truth. My soul knows You in a real and wonderful way. You speak to me and I am blessed beyond measure. I am encouraged and I am humbled by Your majesty! I am overwhelmed by Your truth and I have been set free by Your grace. Sweet Jesus, I have no hope but in You! Power belongs to You alone, Amen.
Ps.62:1-2 For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.
Ps.62:5-8 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.
God is all seeing and all powerful! He loves and He judges!
Ps.62:11-12 Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.
Only You Lord can satisfy my soul!
Ps. 63:1-4 O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands. Seek the Lord while you can. He will be found by those who seek His truth. Isaiah 55:6 “Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is nearAfter death there will be no conversion of the soul. Repent and be blessed, call on Jesus the Savior of souls, ask for forgiveness for only He can save! All authority has been given to Christ!Matt.28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Romans 14:9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.Jesus freely gave His life on the cross, it was not taken from Him. He was the only one worthy of atoning for our sin. In obedience to His Father, God Almighty, He trusted God for His sovereign plan for mankind.Lord, thank you is a feeble attempt at gratitude. I was lost and my eternity was Hell but You made a way for me to be reconciled to God. I stand humbled by Your gift. I praise Your holy name with every breath of mine that You will control. Amen

Breaths and Delusions

The poor and the rich have one thing in common, both, after death, will stand before their maker. Our reality here on Earth may be in poverty or in wealth but the outcome of judgement will be the same. God shows no partiality according to our poverty or wealth! He is totally fixed on our acceptance of His Son and how we used our freedom in Him to tell the world of the hope we have found in Christ.
Ps.62:9 Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.
Prov.22:2 NIV Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all.
Matt.16:27 For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done.
All flesh, in prayer, go to the Lord!
Ps.62:2 O you who hear prayer, to you shall all flesh come.
The hope of the ends of the Earth!
Ps.65:5-8 By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas; the one who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with might; who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples, so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.
What He has done for my soul!
Ps.66:16-20 Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul. I cried to him with my mouth, and high praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me!Your way known on Earth! Your saving power among all nations!Ps.67 May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations.  Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Selah Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; let all the ends of the earth fear him! Lord of Heaven and Earth, Your Word is clear, Your truth is truth, mankind has been warned and You will judge! Help me to teach Your Word, to show the lost Your hope through Your Son, Jesus, to warn the lost that they will be without excuse for denying You and to love people who have not found Your truth!AmenRomans 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

Dull Hearts/Will You Listen?

Acts 28:26-28 "'Go to this people, and say, You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive. For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed; lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.'  Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen."
Your opinions do not matter! Only the Word of the living God has any power! What the Word states is true and unchangeable! You can pray for God to open your heart to His truth or you can stay in the dark. If you seek Him, He will be found!! God can change you forever!!
Matt.13:15 For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.'
We who believe by the grace of God!
Deut.11:18 "You shall therefore lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
Mark 9:23-24 And Jesus said to him, "'If you can'! All things are possible for one who believes." Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, "I believe; help my unbelief!" Our lives as Christians are not without the burdens of live. We all may have money problems, health issues, family trials, uncertainty in jobs, death of family and friends and any other life struggles that you could think of. The difference is we will be held by the strong arms of a living God. He will guide us by the power of His Word and we will make it.Father, thank You for loving us, forgiving us, guiding us, and correcting us. Let Your love shine through us, in Jesus name. We do listen, we do share Your Word and our hearts are overjoyed through Your Word. Amen

Mercies in Disguise

What if our trials and failures are mercies in disguise? Knowing God is in control of all things should be a comfort, but only if we trust Him with all things, only if we are totally bowed at His cross of redemption.
Father, only You can give us faith, the faith we need to live everyday for You. Through all of life's trials, we have Your precious Word, the Words of eternal life! Open our eyes to the truths You would have us learn so we can share our faith with others. Amen
Trust in the Lord!
Ps.56:3-4 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
Ps.56:13 For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.
God is mindful of us!
Ps.56:8 You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?
1 Peter 1:3-5  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
God is with us!
1 Peter 1:6-9 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith--more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire--may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
My plea Lord!
Luke 18:13 13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner! Amen!!!

Turn From Darkness to Light

Acts 26:16-18 But rise and stand upon your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you, delivering you from your people and from the Gentiles--to whom I am sending you to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'Acts 26:23 that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles." Jesus is light:Ps. 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? John 3:19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." 1 John 1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.The sinner walks in darkness. He has no hope! He is lost in sin and despair! He is under bondage to Satan. Satan holds you captive with all sorts of sin, he knows your weakness and will not stop tempting you till he causes you to yield. The only way to win is to run to Your Savior, flee as fast as you can, call on God's power through prayer and His Word. Satan is defeated and Christ is King and Lord!! If you do fall, repent, be humble before Him and ask Your Savior to forgive you.Luke 18:13 13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!'Lord, I am persuaded by Your creation which I see with my own eyes, that Your Word is true! You are light and in You there is no darkness. Help me to teach Your power, hope and truth to a lost and dying generation. Amen

We Are Weak But He Is Strong

2 Cor.13:4 For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God.
Accept it, WE ARE WEAK! Our power comes from the most high God. It is through Him that we accomplish all things. We are here by His command and for His glory and purpose.
2 Cor.13:9 For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. Your restoration is what we pray for.
Creator:
Romans 9:20 But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?'"
Created:
1 Peter 2:8 and, "A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall." They stumble because they disobey the message--which is also what they were destined for.
Listen to God's Word:
Jude 1:4 For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
His steadfast love:
Ps.36:10-11 Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright of heart! Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.
Hope in God:
Ps.42:11 Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
Hope in Jesus:
Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Eternal Word:
1 Peter 1:25 but the word of the Lord remains forever."And this word is the good news that was preached to you.
Heb.4:12-13 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
I can not stress enough how fleeting life is! We are not promised a tomorrow, in fact you die in the exhale of a breath or in the skipped beat of a heart! Think of life as, the minute you are born, you begin to die!
Precious God, we rest in Your hands at all times, in life and in death. Arouse in people the need for a Savior so that they will respond to Your Word in repentance. Thank You for the blessings of this life only You can give. May Your name be glorified in the whole world, Amen.
