Your Grace Is Sufficient For Me

Satan pursues, he is every mindful of your sinful rebellion and he will not flee except by your stand on God's Word! Yes, we live in a fallen world. Yes, Satan is the king of this world. But Jesus has overcome the world and we are in His care. Satan is there, in your head, telling you lies, trying to make you fall into temptation. When things around you turn to chaotic, the devil is close. God is watching to see if you will stand on Him or fall.
Jer.17:7 "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD.
2 Cor.12:9-10 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.God's Word on doctrine and power:1Tim.6:3-8 If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. Now there is great gain in godliness with contentment, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.2Tim.1:7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.Not because of our works:Eph.2:9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast2 Timothy 1:9 who has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of timeTitus 3:5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy SpiritMatthew Henry's Concise Commentary says "The grace that saves is the free, undeserved goodness and favour of God; and he saves, not by the works of the law, but through faith in Christ Jesus."Father God, how rich are these words from the above commentary! Thank you is inadequate. We praise You for who You are! Amen
