Proclaimed In His Name To All Nations

Luke 24:46-48
46 and said to them, "Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead,
47 and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
48 You are witnesses of these things.

We are the witnesses God has given Christ, we are to proclaim His gospel to the nations. Although we have not physically seen the events in God's Word, we believe! Why? Because God's Word is so compelling! Because God has opened our eyes to see! Because God has shown us through His creation of the universe!

1 Peter 1:8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy

1John 5:10-11
10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.
11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Acts 26:18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'

Romans 1:19-20
19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them
20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

God will not be denied! He demands worship! He alone is worthy! There is no other God!
Almighty God of the universe, creator of all things, forgive us! Loose our tongues with the hope found in You. Amen
